As you know, most favors are tailored to meet each individual's need. We feel that this type of service requires personal interaction that tends to be lost when using a shopping cart type of ordering system.

For security reasons we do not recommend sending credit or checking account information through email. When all the details are worked out, we will send you an invoice. You can pay either with a credit card or mail us a check.

Depending on the item you wish to purchase, please allow 1-3 weeks for us to process your order. To provide the freshest products, we do not stock any edible items. If a minimum order is not specified next to the item(s), the minimum for placing an order on the item(s) is 24 pieces.

We will do our best to accommodate a shorter processing time if necessary.
Upon request, we will provide a sample... depending on the item.

Return Policy:

Above Gourmet stands behind the quality of every product we sell. However, if you should be unhappy with your purchase, we will do everything we can to make you happy. We cannot accept returns on samples, food items, or any products that have been personalized or decorated in any way. We will only accept returns within 5 days of the time you receive your order. No Return Claims will be accepted after 5 days. Please contact us to receive a return authorization number. We will not receive any returns without a return authorization number. Merchandise must be in it's original packaging. Shipping and any "Rush" fees are not refundable. Shipping costs to return the items are the responsibility of the customer. A 20% restocking fee applies to all returns.

For your own protection, please use a reputable shipping service such as UPS or FEDEX so that the items can be tracked. Also, please be sure to have the items insured against damage. We cannot issue refunds for items that arrive to us damaged. Once we receive the merchandise and we go through inspecting the items, you will receive an email from us confirming the credit amount. Within 3 to 5 business days the credit will be issue. Depending on the bank institution please allow sufficient time to process your credit.

If you decide for some reason that you want to cancel an order you just placed, we can only do so if we have not processed the order yet. Please note that we process most orders immediately upon receipt. Any cancelled orders will be subject to 5% cancellation charge due to transaction fees we incur after your credit card is processed. Please pay attention to minimum order quantities, as this will result in a 5% charge if your order is cancelled. Any order that has already been shipped can not be cancelled. If a customer requests a cancellation after the order has been shipped and the customer refuses to take the package, the case will fall under the Return Policy and shipping and restocking charges will apply.

If UPS or Fedex is experiencing problems trying to deliver your package(s) due to an incorrect address, the order will be returned to us. The sender is responsible for any reshipping fees charged by Fedex or UPS to redeliver the package.

On rare occasions some items may arrive damaged or may be missing. Please contact us immediately. You must save the damaged merchandise and packaging for a possible claim by us with the carrier. You must report any damage or missing items to us no later than 5 days after the package was delivered. NO CLAIMS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 5 DAYS. Within 5 days after you receive your damaged merchandise, you must provide us with photos to show damages. Once we take a look at the photos we will help file a claim with the shipping service. We will either issue you a credit or send you out the replacements.

Damage and Return Policy on our Glass Swan Vases: We no longer ship replacement swans.

Rarely do we get any reports from our customers on damaged items but just in case....

If you notice your box has been opened, or if you see any signs of damage to the packages, have your UPS driver note the damages on your delivery receipt. If you find any items missing or damaged after the driver leaves . . .


Each swan was carefully inspected and packed carefully before it left our shop. We are willing to assist you in every way possible in collecting your claims for loss or damage, but this willingness on our part does not make us responsible for collection of claims or replacement of materials. Normally, UPS will inspect the damage and then send us a form to fill out to collect the money owed. When we receive the money, (usually 10-15 days) we will contact you and issue a credit. The credit can be used to purchase the damaged swan(s).

International Orders - Canada:

Above Gourmet is not responsible for breakage, damage or melting on perishable items due to the extended transit time and possible customs delays. Above Gourmet is also not responsible for missing packages and damaged products resulting from errors made by the shipping carrier (UPS and Fedex).

Pricing and Ordering:

Prices, products, and minimum quantity are subject to change without notice. Currently, minimum order for wedding favors is 24 pieces. All orders must be prepaid in full.

We require you to provide certain identifying information when you order product from our web site. Above Gourmet uses an order form for customers to request information, products, and services. We collect visitor's contact information (like their email address) and financial information (like their credit card account numbers). Contact information from the order form is used to send orders to our customers. Financial information that is collected is used to bill the user for product and services. ("Personal Information")

The Personal Information is protected by the Electronic Communications Privacy Act. Above Gourmet will not sell, rent, swap, or otherwise disclose your Personal Information to any third party.

Shipping and Handling:

Our method of shipping is UPS Ground and Fedex. In most instances we are able to ship non-personalized items within 72 hours. Personalized items such as our olive oil favors and honey jar favors can take up to 2 weeks. Our hand blown glass swan vases can take between 3 to 4 weeks during our busy wedding season. If items are out of stock we will contact our customers at the phone number or email address provided on the order form.

For orders shipped to Canada, Above Gourmet is not responsible for any taxes, duty and brokerage fees associated with the shipment. Furthermore, Above Gourmet is not knowledgeable about country-specific import regulations and will not be responsible for fees/damages associated with noncompliance.
